"Sabs" (sic) poll

Quick update: Oli isn't a sabb, he's a member of staff, and hasn't had a beard for at least a month Steve Savage isn't a sabb either - he's a student officer Alex, Ben, Chris and David are sabbs. no one else is. Whether they're feckless wankers or not is subjective, but having met them, I don't thin...

Busy in Halls?

What have the hall events been like this Freshers' Week?
McIntosh has been awesome, with speed meeting and ghost tours and karaoke and stuff - the committee has worked so hard but it's been well worth it!

What are other halls like? Have you had an action packed Freshers'?

Re:

If there are picture rails, then why not buy a really big sheet of wood, and hang that from the rail, thus providing an excellent place for displaying posters!

Re:

Bring 4 with you, and if you need any more you can get them done in the Union.

If it turns out you don't need them all, then why not write your name (or phone number) on the back and hand it to someone who catches your eye?

Re:

For anyone who isn't in halls of residence, I understand that the Albany Park committee will be taking non-residents under their wing. So as not to miss out on any of the Freshers week events and other hall-related things throughout the year, you'll be able to join in with the Gatty bunch. (I think ...

Re:

If someone has enough money to be able to afford a cleaner, then what's the harm in spreading the wealth by paying someone else to do it for them?

What if you really can't stand cleaning, and would rather pay someone else?

Note the difference between the Uni (University) and the Union (Students' Association). Two completely different bodies! Bondage isn't illegal in the UK, but S&M is. As long as Bondage Soc complies with the Students' Association's equal opportunities policy, doesn't partake in or promote any illegal...
