It has been suggested the no-Hentai restriction on the board is being loosely enforced under my administration. This is not helping. Re:

That is very cool, but obviously we could never condone video piracy which I am informed supports terrrorism (and forces people to look at a topless fat bald guy with a branding iron at the start of movies). For instance I would never inflict on the society a regionless copy of Devilman that I happe...

Damn you Gibli and your revisionist ways! Fireflies is such a fantastic film, and we must show it. Cheerfulness and fluffiness be damned! I want the society to cry! Sorry. I would quite like us to show Grave of the Fireflies. It would not have been a great choice on the opening night perhaps, but no...

"Jizzalicious?!" I'm not sure I want the society to acquire that attribute. :-P I'm allegedly a "powerful committee member" (the president told me so) so I'll suggest some of these at the next meeting, but I remember something being said about asking members for suggestions at one of the meetings be...

A fool and his e-credit...

I was wondering if anyone on the board has purchased anime on eBay at all? I like eBay, and even though I know it's probably a bad plan, I'm tempted to try it once to see what I get. My concerns (in addition to the usual): 1. The DVD could have bad sub/dub - possibly comically bad. 2. The DVD qualit...
