Such a response from a committee member of RockSoc is unfortunate. It's one thing to run an event opposing GameSoc attendance - it's another to deal with a minor grievance with "F.U.C.K O.F.F."

Thank you for making your position clear.

I think the point is that GameSoc (nee WARSoc) runs every Wednesday night - and it's not a great idea for a society to run an event on the same night as another society when those two societies have a relatively high degree of correlation amongst their membership.
