Re:

As people have said on this thread before, but so few of you seem to realise/accept, Live8 is NOT about raising money, but instead raising awareness. Cancelling the debt is one thing, but will not succeed without ensuring that the corruption is also removed. THIS is why awareness needs to be raised....

Quoting Gealle from 21:25, 15th Jun 2005 Has anyone else just read the latest to hit the press? While the rest of us will only be allocated (well, have been allocated) three tickets for guests as a maximum unless we're fortunate enough to be at a certain couple of ceremonies where tickets might be ...

Am I right in thinking that the Principal's salary exceeds the block grant given by the University to the Students' Association for welfare and representational issues? I heard that the union has to pay for the representational services out of the money raised from entertainments and the like - mone...

The plans are to broadcast again in November (the earliest the licence will allow).

The broadcasting times were published on the standrewsradio.com website, and displayed on posters all round town. I even got an email telling me when to listen to Fleur et al.

Quoting Jamie Potton from 10:03, 25th Apr 2005 The innovation *cough* that was the Head of Marketing, Media and Design is now a staff position - so this post takes the place of that sabbatical in the constitutional settlement - no amendment necessary, apparently... Why the "cough"? And are you sure...

In the end a 12" Jaffa Cake convinced the Tribunal that it was a cake.

Quite unusual. I would have thought that a lawyer would have done a better job, but if cakes can win cases now, good luck to them!

By offering a different post, new candidates may be attracted (as in the case of Bean and Choong). It could also be said that Boyd didn't win the DoS election as people may not have ...

Re:

If the candidates wish to mount an appeal, they are quite within their rights, and I believe it is the Elections Officers' duty to see whether the appeal is upheld. Advising candidates against appealing seems to go against the "free and fair" ethic of the elections so far. Congratulations to the win...
