Sorry for starting this whole side issue - back to the matter in hand, what?

I watched the first show of "I'm A Celebrity..." and haven't watched it since. The concept isn't so bad - Celebrity Big Brother was enjoyable, I thought - but the execution lacks something.

What system is that? The example you give is certainly incorrect.

It is possible to be snobbish and decadent while simultaneously struggling to survive on student loans and overdrafts.

Why the Duke of Beaufort? Although he has a direct male-line descent from Edward III, it is through one illegitimate son and one dubiously legitimated one.

"Professor Lord Robert Winstone"

For goodness' sake! Why must EVERYONE get this wrong? Call me a pedant, but... It is completely incorrect to refer to a peer as "Lord [Firstname] [Title]" as above, even if the title is the same as the surname. All peers (except Dukes) are referred to in conversation simply as "Lord [Title]" - for e...

Another pesky "what is that tune" question

Does anyone know the name/artist of the tune that was used as the theme for ITV's "Popstars" (which launched Hear'say on their road to, er, international stardom)?

I am prepared to believe, but find it highly unlikely, that some people might have sung the Gaudie while drinking.

Have you not been to one of those debates where everyone is completely rat-arsed? Particularly Peter Murray, James North and Barry Joss.
