He has no eyes ... well, he does, but it's not right that he should have such a big hat covering them and still walk around fine. Something's wrong there, and rightly feared. And (to the m...

Re:

Space available depends on your Hall. Some halls have box rooms where students may leave suitcases, big boxes, etc., during term-time. The important question is: Do you have enough muscles? It is surprising just how heavy even a smallish box of books can be. Clothes also sum up quickly to be heavy, ...

Being buried alive ...

Or being cremated alive.

One lasts longer but is less painful ... but I don't think I'd willingly choose either.

Considering that one has just met a bear in the woods ... surely one should be able to run off easily, since a bear can't run too fast with his trousers round his ankles ... either that or just hand him the Andrex,

Sinner T-Shirt Question

Sorry to bring this up, but, should we decide to buy t-shirts, has the back printing been changed to the .net address? I know it's probably a rather anally retentive point, but I wanted to check. After all, we're walking adverts. [hr] Always dismantel and clean the dog before bed, but avoid the use ...

Quarterstaff - I think it's a misprint on your part, but surely the Boot Duke said that being born in a stable does not make one a horse?

He was an Enlgishman born in Dublin, if I remember rightly.

Just a couple of things: Don't automatically say yes to the first person to offer to be your academic parent. Thankfully, in this case, you can pick your parents. Only bury bodies under the floorboards if you live on the ground floor / basement ... that's a mistake you don't make twice. Freshers' Fl...

Dating Dos and Don'ts

Do compliment her on her trouser suit, but only if she's wearing a trouser suit: at no time give her any indication that you've already been through her wardrobe. Don't dress as an admiral in the Japanese Navy, even if you are one, as this is far too formal. Geeks: Don't say, "Your eyes, to me, hold...

I get irritated when people post repeat message threads within a couple of weeks of each other. Moderators should delete repeat message threads if they are started too recently after the thread it copies. But maybe that would be me trying to unreasonably impose my opinions on fellow Sinner users.

Re:

Overactive mind ...

"All rise"

"Be upstanding"

"He didn't fail to stand up in court"

"The long arm of the law"

I don't think "Crown Prostitution Service" quite fits the bill, but I had thought of it anyway.

If one was going to view the poll in total seriousness, talking about individual Muslims, then the only correct answer could have been "some good, some bad" since that's true of all people, faiths, social groups. Whether rightly or wrongly, I (and probably others) find the Unregistered User facility a useful way of saying things without having everyone else know it's me. In my first year (and yours, Elizabeth, 1999), way back when Gannochy was wholly an undergrad building, it was introduced to me as "The Prison Wing of Sallies" . Maybe I missed the news ... but when did someone else get www.thesinner.co.uk and leave this site being .net?

Shouldn't you redo the graphics and text with this alteration?
