"the cheat" tshirt

hello - this is a bit random but I'm cleaning out my closet (literally, not Eminem style) and I've come across my homestarrunner.com t-shirt. I never wear it but seeing as these things are bloody expensive, thought I'd ask if anyone out there wanted it before I chucked it in the charity shop bag. It...

Re:

Having just spoken to my sweetheart in the land down under where 2005 is well underway, I can assure you I am not the happiest duck. Which is worse: having no one to kiss on New Years Eve, or having someone to kiss but he's 12 000 miles away? On the bright side, it's cold but clear and sunny in Edin...

Re:

Babe, I hear ya. It's the worst time ever. It's a huge countdown to a mini-apocalypse. It's inevitably an anti-climax. The countdown starts and you feel a panic to make something of the last year in the final ten seconds. And ahead of you stretches a whole new year - slightly terrifying. A blank can...

Re:

A lot of the clubs are open until 5, if not all of them.

I have a flat city centre. I might consider a *SUBSTANTIAL* bribe.

Normally I would just offer my couch but I'll have family in town - sorry.

Coming from a place a fair bit further south than St Andrews, my sleeping patterns tend to get massively wacked in the height of winter and summer. It's the darkness/daylight. And even though this is my third winter here, it's still screwing me up. Aaaah!

Yeah, Scrubs is one of my favourite shows.

It was out ages ago in N.America and is apparently coming out on dvd quite soon there. Time to hit amazon I think!

Oo, I definitely want to go see it again.

Garden State

Oh man. Go see Garden State. it was fantastic. I've been waiting for it to open here for ages but the wait was well worth it. Zach Braff may just be a genius - his directorial debut as well as writing and starring in it - and it just hit so many chords. Any angsty 20-something needs to see this. [hr...

re: MadDog

Surely people who are confident *are* the ones who are laid back and chilled out? If you are self-confident, you don't have to spend time running around doing your makeup or buying clothes or going to the right places and talking to the "right" people. You can just chill because you are comfortable ...
