Quoting Hughie Throbbingphallus from 00:20, 25th Sep 2007 Many actors have been given HLMs for services to theatre for far fewer and arguably less decent performances than my friend, graduate **** **** who is returning out of his own good will to save a production of Black Comedy in Venue One in tw...

Re:

Y'know what this means, Adam? i can see the signs. There'll be a little nagging voice telling you that YOU could do it better and you'll feel obligated to at least try to make your new Uni the best it can be.
Whether that voice is your subconscious or a real person depends on other factors.

[I don't think it's that CHESS or St Andrews is underrepresented, but that the press automatically assumes the NUS represents all UK students (wrong on two levels). Plus, even if they did call St Andrews, if they don't get the Pres. straight away-- which happens most of the time because Tom doesn't ...

I get the impression that, like "suspenders" or (forgetting the term for what they are in English-English) "girdles"(?), they are mostly worn by, and should continue to be worn only by, journalists typing away furiously to get the night's report in.

No, parents can't make their kids not have sex.

Sex isn't a contract. One only needs parental consent to enter into contracts. The reason under 18s need their parent's permission to marry is because, technically, a marriage is a legal contract. It's also not illegal for minors to have sex with other (consenting) minors-- no need for parent's perm...

Her health is, apparently, not as strong as it used to be (logical, considering how old she must be getting). By the way, the old man who goes around with the sandwich board is not her husband, so the Mr Ross nickname is a misnomer. You have to admit, Mrs Ross is a kind and gentle lady and made St A...

do you think the play on bejant / bec-jaune is too subtle? No, but only if the term "yellow beak" is CLEARLY explained in some sort of freshers something or other-- like The Book. Emma Watson's acting was crap. And considering she didn't want to work with the director, I'm not surprised. "Am I contractually obliged to repeat the lines in every take?" "Well, yes." What the heck did she think the take was for? She mumbled some of her funniest lines or, worse yet, practically lo...
