I was just wondering if there was a place in tailors or a fitters of some kind in st. Andrews?

Also does anyone know where I can find a white maids apron.

not sure they are a tailors exactly, but if you need something adapted then the lingere shop next to Fisher and D have a little sign up saying they do alterations.
