Grade "Z"

Hi,

This was posted and answered in some detail before the sinner went down but I cannot remember the answer no can I find the thread.

I apologise for the repition.

Anyway, I have received my first year management module mark today, and there is no mark given, just a grade of 'Z'. I have been awarded 0 credits for the module as well.

I just wondered if anyone knows what this means or if anyone has had the same experience? I attended the exam and submitted all coursework and as far as I know didn't lose my P2P. My only thought is that it must be something to do with the strike.

I think its to do with the strike...I have it for Linguistics, and my friend has it for German, so I think its to do with Modern Languages strike or something.

Nothing to worry about though, itll sort itself out, it doesnt mean youve failed or anything.

Z means no grade has been issued. this has occured in 1st year biology modules, but we recieved an email explaining that we will be getting our grades on saturday
it is associated with the strike

Yes, all grades should be out by Monday now. Two of my three modules are marked as 'Z', which is a bit annoying, but a few more days won't hurt now, I guess.

I take Comp Sci, Management and Philosophy of Mind.

All my module grades were blank for a long time then after I got a Philosophy grade my other two modules had Z's. Now they have gone back to blank.

So I suspect they'll come soon. Monday like everyone is saying
