I know this thread has came up many times but who is the best driving instructor in St Andrews?

I am taking lessons with Kenny Graham and I've found him to be great - he's to the point, no nonsense and is great at building confidence - I definately recommend him!

I would recommend the driving instructor I had up here but he was a border line sex offender.

On the same theme, I'm thinking of taking an intensive course (week long) in the summer - has anyone ever done this up here and if so, who would you recommend? Is it a good way of learning to drive?

Any comments much appreciated.

The intensive courses can be both good and bad. I'd recommend doing maybe two lessons per week rather than all at once. Just going from my own experience; I did two a week for 10 weeks then passed the test first time (although this was 6 years ago and the shorter older driving test).

Friends at the time all went for the intensive courses, and all failed the test at the first go.

Not sure this has helped much though!

"what's his number and how much does he charge?"

I too have found Kenny Graham very good.
He charges £18ph at student rate.
