Dissertation binding

Postby Midget on Tue May 09, 2006 6:56 pm

I know I know this has been asked before but i couldn't find the thread. How long does it take, for a short dissertation 7,000 words, to be bound? A matter of hours? And best place?

Philosophy dissertation done midget?

I'm so glad the deadline was extended! I was planning to get mine bound tomorrow morning. Couldn't find the thread on the sinner - but was wondering how much it costs to get it bound?

Cheers

University Bindery near Morrisons, it's recommended you get it in a few days before you *need* it but they're lovely and will prolly do it for you in 15 mins or so (he did for me).

Here's all the information:

The union does binding too but cheaper.

I had my History dissertation bound a few weeks ago when I was in town and it was but £4 and was done while I waited.

If you can't be bothered walking that far, the reprographics place on the scores will do it for just under £4 in the space of ten minutes while you wait. It's in St Katherines lodge or west. It's just past the construction work at the back of the library.

I had my dissertation bound in the Purdie Building. A friend told me about it and it used a different (and in my opinion, nicer) binding technique and at a time of year when loads of people are getting things bound, the Purdie Building binding place had no queue and was done in about 5 minutes.

The Purdie Building doesn't have a reprographics office anymore. It moved to St Katherine's lodge (The place mentioned above).
