What time in the morning are short loan books due back in the library at the moment? 8.45am or 9.45am?

what time do they start charging at? Like is it straight after 9:45? Or is there some extram time given?

No, it's not 9.45. They start charging sometime between 10.10 and 10.16. I swear it varies. Of course, I could stop trying to test them and just leave the house ten minutes earlier.

i always assumed it was about 10am they started fining you but now i will probably start leaving 10 minutes later...not a good thing to know!

I've been charged returning them just minutes past 10, so I wouldn't count on it... Just note that this extra time doesn't extend throughout the day - I once had a bad surprise, thinking I had until 11 before it would count the second hour, and returning two books at 10.55 only to see they had indeed charged me for two hours each.

I took some books out the other day and was informed that due to staff training or something, they weren't due back til 11am. I think it was Tuesday night, so maybe on Wednesdays they're due at 11. I think there might have been something in the Weds. Memos about it....
