A great tragedy

As I was biding my time after exams in May, I walked over to Buchanan to pick up some papers. To my horror, I saw workers tearing up the old desks in a foolish attempt to update the building.

But we're loosing more than just uncomfortable wooden and steel desks- we're losing years of graffiti and scratchings of bored arts students. Some real classics will be lost!

My mate from home was one of the workers. Said it was one of the most boring jobs he'd done.

Shame. I did rather enjoy the "Lecturer self-destruct button"...

That's because it only worked when the lecturer themselves pressed it. Duh!

But why would they be lecturing from one of the desks? Now I'm thoroughly confused!

You've spotted the product's crucial design flaw.

I actually have one of the desks (totally covered in graffiti)! For some reason or other, my friend had found it and gave it to me as a gift when she returned to our house!
