Ants

Postby What? on Wed May 20, 2009 12:48 pm

So my flat has a lovely ant problem discovered by moving some suitcases under a bed. I've hoovered thoroughly around the area and in the room affected and have Rentokil traps from the hardware store.

Anyone got any other tips about killing the little buggers? I can't afford an anteater and torch + magnifying glass will damage the carpet.

You try finding the areas they tend to enter your house and place salt over them. This neutralises their scent trails and stops the following ants from walking in that direction. This is a temporary fix, obviously.
I'm not a large water-dwelling mammal Where did you get that preposterous hypothesis? Did Steve

we have little beetles that live in our sofa. I think they add character. Have you thought of giving your ants names?
