Short term rentals

Does anyone know how to go about renting a room for short periods of time? (i.e. one week or less) My boyfriend and I are renting a two bedroom apartment for the summer and have several friends visiting us at one time or another, so we can't really have a tenant all summer, but were hoping to recoup some of our rental money by offering the room (and its private bathroom) to thrifty golfers, holiday-goers, etc. for a week or so at a time if possible. Is there a Sinner website for the non-student population, or a way to advertise a room to those golfers who're too cheap to stay at the Old Course Hotel and too disorganised to organize their B&B in advance?
