language exchange

Hi,
I'm an Italian girl and I'm going to stay in St. Andrews from 22nd March till the beginning of October (got an Erasmus Placement scholarship).
Since I'm probably going to spend six months in Mainz next year, I'd like to find someone who could help me to improve my German (it's worst than my English... and that's enough to say), doing some conversation etc. I'd be very glad, in exchange for that, to help she/he studying Italian or Latin.
I saw there are some language courses organized from the Uni, but I'm going to arrive at least one month after the beginning of these courses, and I'm not sure it would be a good idea to get into a class which is already formed.
