For years, my Saturday mornings would start at 6am, when I would get up and walk my dog, have breakfast, then cycle 2 miles into the nearest town, get on the bus to my local stables at 7:27, arrive in the nearest village at 7:45, walk the mile to the stableyard, and be there in time to bring horses in for 8am. Cups of tea with co-stableworkers, then grooming/feeding of 11 horses, and they were all ready for the public by 10am. A full day's stable work followed, and I finished at 4:30, and did the whole morning process in reverse.
I wish I was as fit now as I was then!
