there is usually the option of asking for it when you order your hall clothes.. otherwise just get them to put Atholl in.. you know it makes sense. Then you can pretend to be one of the elite!

What is this Atholl business? Could someone elucidate the matter?

Atholl is the nickname for John Burnett Hall which apparently has a great hall spirit and a pechant for persecuting innocent Christmas trees or so I've heard.

JBH is fantastic. I'll proudly wear 'Atholl' on my next piece of hall clothing.

But yeah, if you want personalised writing there's a section on the forms that you can tick. You can have it on the back or sleeve.

As far as I know, you can't. You can only get it on club/hall clothing.

Are you looking for the same type of writing that you get on hall clothing, or transfer? If you want the type that they use on hall clothing then your best bet is to contact a hall rep and ask them who they use. If you want transfer type writing then there is a place in Edinburgh, I can't remember the name of the place, but I can get the name if you want.

Have a word with me when you're next in the union. I can put you in touch with a couple of different companies who can print onto clothing. Just call in on my office on the middle floor.

Well rectalprobe (if that is your real name!) you NEVER said you were buying the hoodie from BESS so my original answer saying you had the option when you ordered HALL clothes still stands. Next time maybe you should be more particular about where you are getting your garments from? :P Also, no need to get rude about Atholl.

John Burnett Hall used to be the Atholl hotel.

That tree got what it deserved!

Does anyone know which hall has a bankrupted committee after some moron managed to flood every floor at once, resulting in a huge massive "unattributable damage" bill?

Chattan had part of every floor flooded last year, but someone was forced to pay since the repairs ran at above £50,000 (allegedly).
