This might seem like a stupid Question, but does anyone know what the Situation is with the open this summer and students?

I was thinking of coming down for a couple of days to st andrews more awash with american tourists than ever before and was wondering wether we can get into the stands or behind the fences without paying?
or is this just wishful thinking?
