Coldplay v That Bloody Frog

Apparently that Frog and Axel F are beating Coldplay to the number one slot by about 30,000 sales.

Not a huge fan of Coldplay to be honest, but they are the lesser of two evils. Better get to Woolies to do my bit for the nation's sanity....

Yet another reason why the music charts can't be taken seriously. It's all just a pile of shit. By all means, if you like Coldplay then buy their song but don't just buy it to try and keep the frog off number one spot, it's not worth it.

anyway - it's the "chart" why do we care - it's not as if it ever has any decent music anyway..

not much to add, really, but wanted to say thanks to flossy, as i was becoming convinced i was the only sane person in the world, as i cannot STAND coldplay or any of the BOLLOCKS they keep writing - how is it in any way "decent music"?!?!?!

so anyway, glad to know that the world and it's inhabitants are not entirely devoid of taste!

I don't like Coldplay, but the Crazy Frog is the personification of evil. It was previously a free download that was done for a bit of a laugh but the record companies snapped it up and turned it into an annoying ringtone and used the advertising equivilent of carpet bombing on this country for the past month in a bit to ram it into our psyche. The crazy frog is only the begining of an explosion in the ringtone market which is expected to reach £2 billion in the next couple of years. Its fair to say that the frog is a cultural atrocity, but far worse is to come. This is only the beginning.
