An Excellent Night I Thought. And The Band. Wow! They were fucking amazing, the big raving number when they came back for the second half, epic and amazing.

Unfortunately the only part I saw of the ceilidh was about 30 losers doing the locomation to '500 miles' during the interval.

Despite my growing freshers flu, I enjoyed that very much, particularly the Orcadian Strip the Willow, which is the dance of choice in, well, Orkney! :) And yes, Duggeh, you were good indeed. ;>

Absolutely fantastic! I had a great time. This was much better than last year's event, in my opinion. Would have liked better music in the breaks, but that's a minor detail. :) There were more people this time and just a generally better atmosphere. Does anyone know what the band was called? I checked the union webpage but couldn't find it.

Yeah, I agree too, it was amazing. ABout the band. What genre would you say they were (apart from the traditional pieces). I again particually liked the piece they performed after the interval, and would like to download more music like that.

I was dissapointed by the lack of proper dress, but it made me stand out more.
