We used very....different music in ours...

That's certainly one way of putting it. ;)

They should be on www.campusmoviefest.com sometime, but they're not on yet. Thought they might've been on by now...

Apologies for Playback having all those sound bites on in the background. We had two versions to play with, and looks like the guys uploaded to wrong one.
Will be rectified ASAP.

Indeed, many of the movies are still not up (Big Brothel, Bob & Eggcellent to name a few). The person in charge of converting the files and uploading is on a few well-deserved days of R&R. Give it a few more days.

I just watched Queen of the Game as recommended above - oh how I laughed! Not that I can say I understood it though...

We could've done with a few more entertaining films like that one on the night, would've provided a welcome change of tone from the drudgery of the gloomy ones shown!

heeeeeeeeheeeeheeeeheeeheheee

Oh, and once again - the obligatory plug for The Parmesan Paradox.

Quoting BenEsq from 02:59, 13th Dec 2005A lot of people put a significant quantity of work and effort into making this week happen. Congratulations Rogue Productions!

If you question the abilities of people who had never made films before, you have a right to do so. Perhaps if you feel creative and know better, then next time try doing something yourself.

I'm sorry, I haven't followed this thread, I just dipped in today - but these sentiments are very wrong.

So someone put a lot of effort into a cake made of cat-food, it would still be foul, and I could rightly say so.

So I can't bake for toffee, so what? Serve me cat-food cake and I'll know it's bad and be entitled to say so.

And you are completely entitled to hold that opinion of the event as a whole.

However as I said on the night, 'you make the event'. We're just happy that on our end everything - the pre-planning, the filming week , and the night itself - all ran surprisingly smoothly. And that we were able to bring the event to St Andrews once again. If you had issues with the judging, fair enough. If you rather had issues with the general standard of the movies, well this being 'your event' that's something we rightly should have no control over, and we challenge you to break the mould next year.

go to www.campusmoviefest.com, they all seem to be up now. I didn't actually go to the event, but heard of how depressing it was afterwards. I'd suggest checking out Big Brothel if you don't want something depressing, but just a load of gags.
