RIP Paul Hunter

Not wanting to sound like one of those people who suddenly gives a shit when someone famous dies... Just thought I should share this sad news with the rest of you.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/snooker/6035879.stm

I'm not a massive snooker fanatic, but I loved to watch Hunter play and he did seem like a genuinely nice guy. It's sad when anyone as you as 27 dies, but when they are as decent as he was it seems extra harsh.

RIP.

A great sportsman, and a terrible loss

He really was a hugely entertaining character. Someone who if I saw he was playing I would go out of my way to make sure I watched. A huge loss to snooker and sport in general. Battled bravely through his disease and devastating that he leaves a young daughter without a father. He will be missed.

He seemed a nice down to earth bloke. Was sorry to hear the news.
