ARE results out today?

not intending to cause panic!!! just asking!

I was told the results get published today, is this true? i thought it was about 3 weeks after the last exam. mine aren't up anyways. anyone know anything different???

The academic calendar says honours classifications will be out by 9am on Saturday the 9th of June, which I presume means all the module results will be out by then too. Schools have a deadline of 1pm on Monday 4th to report module results to whoever it is they report them to (the registry, maybe?) so I suppose there's a chance of some results being released between the 4th and the 9th.

I just checked mine and one is up...it was a small class though compared to others. I haven't checked my record for a few days so it could have been up before. Rather wish I hadn't looked now

I seem to recall last year that the results were given out before the degree classes were, but having said that mine aren't up.

That 11th of June note has been up for at least a year though.

The Regs warden works in the Registry and she told us Regs folk explicitly the results are out on 8th June, with degree classifications on 9th June.

It can't be that the results are just out on the 8th as someone has said they already have a mark back. The grades always come out in dribs and drabs. Not to mention that when the majority of them come out they tend to update more than once a day, no matter what the uni says.

Come to think of it, she might have said they're supposed to be up by June 8th i.e. it's a deadline for departments and schools to submit them.

It's kind of sad, really; I don't need to worry about my results this time because of my transfer.

supposed to mean? Surely it's a mistake, seeing as how I'm still in 2nd year and my grades for this semester haven't been posted yet; and I have no reason to think I didn't make it into honours. :S

Means just that - you haven't been awarded a degree yet, so your record card is "still open" as it were.

Regarding exam boards, Physics, for example is on Monday, so there's not the slightest chance of exam grades being awarded until before then, and then it depends on whenever Registry bothers to publish them. To top it all, if you're being considered for S-coding, that'll add a further delay.

The academic calendar just indicates that monday is the deadline for results to be reported. I'm sure it will take time for them all to be uploaded after that.

I think that the deadline for all the module results to be reported is the same process as them being put on the data warehouse, which will refresh overnight putting the results up the Tuesday morning (unless you have S-coding or similar).

Looking at the calendar, it has to be something like this as Tuesday is the day when the various boards start to meet and all classifications have to be reported to Registry by the following Thursday.

And yes Bryn, you're definitely not the only one worried. I always hate this time, because of the waiting.
