In any case: Whilst I've not seen anything meriting a massive change in my opinion for the SNP, I've yet to see anything to further turn me against them.

The only point that would appear, on the surface, to have any debatable qualities would be

But the original poster should curb their ignorance if they think this is a lie. The debate over North Sea oil is about how much of it belongs to Scotland, not if any of it at all does. This statement by Salmond says that money from Scottish teritorial (As outlined in the 1999 partitioning, by the UK) oil funds the UK. This is a fact.

I guess one could argue that the word self inflicted could also be debatable, but I would suggest this is just normal political wording that every party uses.

There is a reason why comments like yours are of 'old' style, cause they make you sound mentally impaired, and therefore nothing you say afterwards is respected. My point was simply that if you're going to claim that someobody is lying, it's traditional to give people some reason why they ought to think so, instead of just posting what they said, claiming they were lying and expecting everyone else to agree. Have I suggested something unreasonable here?
