Anything that annoys the French is win.

Yes...... yes we did. Well, joint last anyway. Not entirely surprising either. I'm still not really sure why we bother to enter this competition. Not even Ireland give us 'douze points' anymore.

The pirate song should've won.

Actually the bbc says that because Germany and Poland scored more in the previous rounds we are, technically, dead last.

Woah! Hang on now guys, the point of the song contest is to lose. Do you really want to win and foot the bill for the next years competition?

Well as part of the big four involved in eurovision we pretty much foot the bill anyway.

Germany and the UK in fact don't take part in the semi-finals (if that is what is meant by previous rounds) as they get through automatically. (They can however vote)

I figured they meant voting rounds. Like Poland received a 10 (from Ireland), Germany a 12 (from Bulgaria). Our highest score was only an 8 (also from Ireland).

they may have sang in english, but the guy revealing the results spoke entirely in French. I've never actually watched the songs just the results, very entertaining.

I was told the UK came last because of alphabetical order- and was even asked to rename my country Zoland :-P

I meant every word I said, But only said half the words I meant
There's a load more where they came from, I suppose will get left unsent
