...Sort of! Our own version, but it's just as good!
On Thursday October 16th we’ve got a panel of leading politicians ready to discuss the key issues of the day, as chosen by you. You ask the questions, you decide what is debated.
Our panel has representatives from all the main political parties, including Charles Clarke MP from Labour and Linda Fabiani MSP (Minister for Europe, External Affairs and Culture) from the SNP. We've got Sally Magnusson from the BBC chairing the event. Check out http://www.questiontime2008.com for more details.
The debate is FREE for everyone and entry is on a first come basis on the night. It’s all taking place in School 3 (St Salvators quad) with doors opening at 7pm and the debate beginning at 7:30pm. Seating is strictly limited, so turn up early to avoid disappointment.
Ask a question
Anyone can submit a question – just email it to question@questiontime2008.com. It can be on any political topic you like – the credit crunch, the state of the Labour Government, the SNP's year in power in Scotland, the future of the EU, a resurgent Russia, the US elections.... Anything! It’s your debate!
Reserve a seat and FREE buffet
Everyone can access the debate for FREE, but since the debate is being hosted by the European Society if you are a Society member you get great benefits. You can reserve a seat for FREE by emailing reserveaseat@questiontime2008.com. You also get FREE access to our “Welcome Reception” buffet, which begins at 7pm in a room above School 3. All our panel members and invited guests are going to the buffet, which means you can chat to Charles Clarke or the Minister for Europe over a cup of tea and a sandwich. At 7:30pm we’ll all head downstairs and the debate will begin!
