Oh Jesus, I think I'm going to be in town on election day. It's like my own personal black hole!

Oh so *that's* why David isn't running Rory McLion this year... I'm amazed, it's (for once, and probably only co-incidental with a big hack migration southwards (graduation as the newbies like to call it)) a genuinely interesting election.

Why must you invoke our lord and saviour in a post about how sad and abysmal your life is? For someone who has not been a matriculated student for over three years, you already spend a disturbing amount of time on the sinner. Please pretend that you have had a life since leaving St.Andrews, and do not grace us with your royal presence on election day. Seriously, pretend you have some fucking dignity.

I wouldn't normally let pissy personal digs from unreg cowards through, but I feel I should point out something.

He's posted 27 times in the last 29 days, and 71 times in the last 172 days (since the Sinner relaunched, as a handy reference point). Hardly the most prolific Sinner, eh?

Only one day left to get your nominations in - stop by the office on the middle floor of the Union from 10am-4.30pm tomorrow!

Well, it's nominations flurry time, and we've got a drink, a lion and a singer-songwriter (I assume :P) nominated.

What's most disturbing though is that one sabbatical and six officers look set to be elected unopposed (or should I say symbolically opposed). Further, one senate rep looks set to be elected unopposed, and two officer positions are as yet unfilled (triggering a by-election as they can't be filled by co-option). Come on chaps, get some nominations in!

Is Smirnoff not the main bars mascot polar bear instead of the drink? I know that it's his name but I'm not sure if this is the case based on my absence from the union lately.

It is the polar bear mascot. Apparently Smirnoff is a she and is a serious candidate for election...... :P

Let's see if we can crash Facebook completely this year...

I'm impressed with the spread of candidates, I've got to say. Haines vs Keenan should be good, as should the DoR race. And Societies, after I did some Facebook stalking. Where else outside the US but St Andrews could you get a Charities Kid vs a Goldwater-loving libertarian?

So I'm confused, where is the list of results, or did the counters simply decide to give up and let RON run all of the smaller and less important posts?
