I can only see this being horribly abused. I personally know of at least one person working years ago in another university that got kicked off of marking a course. Why? They dared to mark people down on an inability to write a basic lab report (1 page of half-arsed rambling is *not* a lab report) and the students complained. The course co-ordinater at the time did not like the idea of this accurate marking pulling down the year averages!

But then I was always against this anonymisation nonsense. When you go into the real world, you're expected to put your name to what you do (especially in technical fields). This applies no matter who's going to use/read your work. Why should university be any different? It's supposed to be a training session for real life.
