me, i've bought my nose, so i'm just planning on sitting in front of the tv for the night and waiting for the french and saunders harry potter spoof to be on!

Funny you should ask that. There's a charity gig in Aikmans from about 7.30; I'll be playing comic songs, as will Pi and the Alleycats, apparently. (Well, the Alleycats will be singing them rather than playing but you know what I mean.)

Far more entertaining than French and Saunders, in my opinion.

it's this friday, but you can still raise money for ages afterwards. me and folk in our hall are cooking dinner for folks who make a donation to the charity fund and if we raise over £100 we get to throw pies at two residents who have [been] volunteered. if we manage to raise over £150 the girls who are cooking will wear hotpants to cook in (the boys are trying to persuade us that we should only wear hotpants and two red noses...) and one of the boys is serving the food in just an apron and little else. i know it's not much - but fun will be had by all no doubt!
