Hey- this one's gonna be a bit controversial, but here goes...

Why are there no good looking girls in the science faculty?!?
Not sure if girls find it the same for science guys, but it seems to be that all the good looking people are to be found in an Arts subject

There are no stunners in any of my classes, which is very upsetting as it means no distraction from work.

Still I guess things could be worse... could be studying astrophysics or comp sci- the poor fools.

I expect you are trying to be controversial, but - in what way is this at all important/interesting?

Generalising about female science students is just sexist and slightly pathetic. This thread will either disappear into oblivion (where it belongs) or generate a boring debate. I probably shouldn't have even replied but I just wanted to encourage you to make a post that is amusing or write about something of interest. Never mind. Probably a lost cause.

Hey Comp Sci weren't too bad when I was there, there were only four girls in my classes there but 3 of them were certainly attractive in my view...but alas I've moved to arts p

Why do people take such a high moral ground when it comes to posts like these? Can't anyone be light hearted and just have a laugh anymore? If your offended by the posts dont bother reading them anymore, simple as that...

my advice is to change faculties. it sounds like you don't quite fit into this here faculty & you seem to be letting the side down somewhat. the Science faculty tries very hard to uphold it's reputation & takes pride in it's erm appearance. the science faculty is for either geeks or freaks, if you don't fit in then move along.

Nonsense. There are some i'll grant you but all the best looking women i know are arts students. There are more women in the arts faculty which i guess gives it an advantage.

To be fair though, the best looking department in my opinion is the Psychology dept and you can study psych in the arts and sci depts (although it makes no difference to the degree you do).

i actually thought the secretary at maths was quite hot - not sure what her name is, shes blonde and had a baby a couple of years ago, she deals with 1st year enquiries.

also theres a blonde in the library who works as a librarian, i think is very sexy too. she doesnt look old at all, maybe mid-late 20s? damn, i love it when she smiles at me hehe!

There are lots of blonde clones in Psychology, which I just think is boring. Despite that, there are some very pretty people, granted.

Maybe its coz theyve got days and days with only one lecture whereas us sciency people have hours of lectures a day! HaHaHa ;o) Or maybe all the pretty people stay away from you because you spend the whole of your lectures perving on all the girls to see if they are pretty enough for you! Perhaps you should look in the mirror .. maybe the goodlooking people are avoiding you for a reason ? ;o)

Hmmm, dunno, maybe ur standards r too high? I think there are quite a few pretty girls in science classes. Though have to say that there are only a few fit guys as well (luckily though there are enough to keep me distracted!) I spose if ur ideal gal is the dumb blond ur not gonna find many of them in the science faculty (of course u wont find many dumb blonds at uni! let alone a faculty)

Hmm, I don't know about that, but I think that there are lots of beautiful women in science. Its just that more women tend to go for arts hence a higher percentage of 'attractive' women there. Kapish
