room question

Hey guys,

Do we have to empty our room (in Halls,of course) during the Christmas vacation???
Some say yes, some say no...
someone that actually knows would be much appreciated

Usually you don't. Although it's hall-dependent. The Residence Managers will know as will people actually in St Andrews.

Nope, you don't have to empty your rooms at Christmas or Easter. At least we didn't in the hall I was in last year (Chattan).

In DRH you used to have to pack all your stuff into the cupboards so they could clean your rooms. very annoying.

Posters should go up prominently in your hall telling you what you have to do at the end of term (at least they did in Uni Hall when I lived there.) It does vary from hall to hall, year to year.
