I could die happy if...

Postby Midget on Sun Nov 06, 2005 2:46 pm

What single event would either mean so much to you that even if it happened just before you died it would still make your existence worthwhile, or be worth dying for?

My mind is a blank at the moment but I will think of something.

Having a 50th wedding anniversary, very drunken, very stoned (-well by then it'll be legal and/or we'll have the party in Holland or Canada), I can see myself passing out in the corner and suffocating on my own vomit as people party wildly around me, I think that, that would be dying happy -but thats sort of cheating as that would involve a lot of events happening, and includes me living quite a long time, and being in a serious relationship...etc

Actually I'm not sure there is one thing that would make one's life happy.

Except perhaps being content with what you've got?

I find it somewhat ironic that the current front page of the Sinner, owing to the order at which threads are placed (which I'm about to bugger up by posting this message), reads: "I could die happy if... The Olson Twins come to St Andrews".

Maybe, if things went well enough...

I would definitly say finding love, knowing I am really loved, and really loving someone. I long for that day.

And then you die? that sounds a bit tragic doesn't it?

...but then again, that is only my opinion.

Haha, I was just about to say something about that...I'd die happy to keep them away from St Andrews, to be honest.

I would die happy if I were hailed as the Basileus, the Emperor of a new Byzantine Empire.

I think I'm due to have a life of disappointment.
