Hairdressers - best ones? Student discounts?

Bad experience at John Alan's in first year (letting an untrained girl do my colour when I was paying for senior stylist).

Gave them another chance a few months ago when I needed an urgent trim and couldn't get in at S.B's - more expensive than a stylist at Sophie's and she had all the conversation skills of a dog turd. Plus, the cut wasn't actually very good - wonky fringe etc.

go to addy's, woodburn terrace. best cut iv ever had, great colour, ace chat, free tea, a stack of compliments afterwards, only £40 for cut n colour.

when you pay show your matric card for a student discount.
