I'd be mildly amused if he didn't get his £1 million severance pay... I certainly think that printing an article and continuing to run with it, even after aspersions are cast and eventually confirmed - constitutes gross misconduct.

He should have gone after the insider trading scandle along with the two reporters. Would have saved the board of directors alot of money if they had given him the boot then and the rest of us from his inacurate reorting and double standards.
