New Hold Steady (not bad), new Death Cab (better than the last, nothing on anything earlier), new Mates of State (good, surprisingly), bootleg of the Mystic Valley Band material (totally great, good progression from Cassadaga), new Joan Of Arc (great great great), new Will Oldham (classic as always), new Wolf Parade (bit disappointing) and Alopecia by Why?, which is probably the second best thing i've heard all year.

Good few weeks for music. Gave the Scarlett Johansson record a try, it's only right to. It's a bit nothing really, her voice is nothing special so Sitek left it really low in the mix. Fair play on her for trying, but yeah, not worth listening again.
