I take it you haven't seen Shaun of the Dead

And clearly that photo is an optical illusion; the dog is obviously poking its head through a hole in a wooden fence, with the photographer lying down with feet up, on said...fence

In the carpark of the Wallace Monument in Stirling, there's a statue of Wallace which is very clearly based on Mel Gibson, and which features a shield bearing the word "Braveheart".
Apparently it's meant to acknowledge the role of "Braveheart" in promoting Scottish history and culture around the world, rather than to further the romantic (and somewhat misleading) idea of Wallace portrayed in the film.

My dog can also jump directly up from a sitting position when looking up too. It's like he's levitating with is nose vertically up.

According to legend, when Burmese women are making beer, they need to avoid having sex or the beer will be bitter.

So do the women who make bitter ale get around?!

In Vietnam he was 19.

The life expectancy of a WWI front line soldier was around 2 weeks. In Vietnam, it was less than 30 minutes.

one is the only number that has all its letters n alphabetical order

forty is the only one that has them in reverse

iou stands for is owed unto

Are you sure about the iou meaning? I find no etymological dictionary anywhere that agrees with this statement. Your answer also appears in Trivial Pursuit, but nowhere else I can find. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just not sure why I can't find this anywhere else.

The biggest loch in Scotland is...
...Loch Lomond, by surface area
...Loch Ness, by volume
...Loch Morar, by depth
...Loch Awe, by length

Also, the Tay is our longest river.

...then again, that is only my opinion.

Wow, more than two years, and still going strong! :)

The highest point in North America is Mount McKinley, which is located in Alaska.

President William McKinley was assassinated by Leon Czolgosz, whose name is pronounced 'Chol-gosh'.

'Assassins', which features Mr Czolgosz (along with Lynnette 'Squeaky' Fromme and Sarah Jane Moor, whio both attempted to assassinate Gerald Ford in unrelated incidents in California in September 1974), was a musical written by Stephen Sondheim.

Mr Sondheim's work also included 'Sweeny Todd' and 'Into the Woods', a student production of which was produced in St Andrews in the latter months of 2006.

I must have missed this first time round. IOU does not stand for "is owed unto", this is another of these false statements that crops up about such things as ned being NED for non-educated delinquent. Balderdash. It stands for IOU and nothing more.
