It was from someone who said they were on Ents. Maybe it was at Tiffany. They said they jumped of the satge and it skipped or something like that.
Can't find the link.
Even if they weren't miming perhaps a good observation/reccommendation is for next time to get singers that aren't so bad that the whole of st andrews is convinced they mimed.
For that to happen they must have sounded god awfully fake, especially if they weren't actually miming.
The union ballsed up badly this year, the worst I can remember. Poor acts with poor attendance, not enough drinks deals, overall more expensive....
But then this is all just what I have heard because the only people I know who have been in the union this year is one person who works there. Pretty bad considering it used to be the main hang out.
This year is a good year for a lot of other pubs, the number of freshers going to them instead of the union seems quite significant compared to previous years.
If you can't afford good acts then get small ones rather than laughable ones. If it's cheesy it has to be chesney hawkes level cheesy, otherwise it just makes the place a laughing stock.
And if you can't afford to be cheaper than the other pubs then it ain't much of a union and quite simply, people will go elsewhere. After all cheapness was the main attraction of the place.
