On the sign for the awful town I live in it says that the town is twinned with Bron in France. By adding an X it is frequently and more aptly twinned with Bronx.

Another thing I noticed in my first year was that almost every desk in the Buchanan Theatre has this written on it
''Hello Hector, I'm in jail''
I have no idea what this means but I love whoever wrote it everywhere!

May not be connected, but when the enormously popular Gordon Graham lectured at St Andrews (91-95, I think) he was almost universally known as Hector, and he certainly took lectures in the Buchanan for 1st Arts Moral Philosophy.

Someone in my hometown defaced a "STOP" sign so that it read:

"STOP

...Hammertime"

Beautiful.

If I had spraypaint, the local stop signs would be in serious danger right now. This is awesome.

Theres a street in cambridge called Bateman street. the romoval of the e really tickled me.
