Tis true. There was a time in the 90s when Geologist's (when you could do an actual Geology degree in Stan Drews) used to label the Geographers as 'quiche-eaters' (basically meaning they are less hard/more boring/not the real mccoy etc). It probably has died out now, and only us oldies know of it.

I used to live with a geologist and I can tell you they were the most alcoholic bunch i can remember (esp in Whey Pat from Friday lunch onwards).
