But I'm from Edinburgh, and so are many of my friends, yet we all sound so totally bland. It's a bland, boring accent, it really is.

I prefer English accents, myself.

It's not bland, it's just soft. I much prefer the Edinburgh accent to the Glaswegian one. Sometimes I actually get embarrassed by some Glaswegians on the TV; they sound so bad!
