Flippin nora it really is "have a go at kids" day today.

In the last week - a mate of mine was breastfeeding in a shopping centre, she was carrying her baby in a maya wrap so you couldn't see anything and was asked (over the tannoy no less) if "the lady breast feeding in front of (insert name of shop here) could please stop." Of course people who hadn't noticed before then turned and stared. Lovely.

Today I was asked to leave and BARRED from a cafe in my hometown because my son and his friends who were sitting nicely at the table eating, but making noise as two year olds usually do, were offending his customers.

Then I log in here to see kids can't play naked in the beach or pee when they have to pee.

How many of you have pottied trained a toddler? Not many? Well I am trying to pottty train my son and when a kid has to go - a kid has to go.

The reason I've been short with you is that you don't listen to reason; you counteracted disagreement with 'Adults don't run around naked, so why should children', I think it was Insight who pointed out that there is nothing wrong with a child in the buff, it is only Modern society that thinks there is something inherently unsavoury about it.

Maybe I'm strange, but I quite sincerely don't see a problem with a mother discretely breastfeeding her baby in a public place - it's better than listening to a hungry infant's non-stop squalling. Same goes for having a little kid pee down a drain. A few ounces of sterile urine down a storm drain is a lot less bothersome for all involved when the alternative is a cranky toddler trooping around in wet pants.

If I had a kid, I'd keep on feeding it and make it a point to continue standing there with a huge smile on my face.
I'd probably even try to get loads of other mothers to come with me the next day or something.

Besides, isn't it now illegal in Scotland to stop a mother from breast-feeding a child? I think I remember it being in the news/being a thing about two years ago.

I know in America there have 'breast-feeding sit-ins' organised by mothers at certain restaurants which have asked nursing mothers to leave. I don't know if it's illegal but surely it must come under some form of discrimination. Eight year olds are allowed out in thongs and other prostitot clothing yet mothers aren't allowed to use their breasts for nature's purpose at risk of offending people? You can't even see anything.
