Does anyone know how the numerical grade x/20 is split into degree-type grades ie. 1:1, 2:1? Thanks

First 16.5 <= m <= 20
Upper Second 13.5 <= m < 16.5
Lower Second 10.5 <= m < 13.5
Third 7.5 <= m < 10.5
Pass* 4.5 <= m < 7.5

See: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/registry/ac ... sept_amend

*for an individual exam mark <5 is a fail i am sure - the info was from the universiity algorythm for calculating final honours marks and 4.5-5 is 'borderline' appartantly
It’s been this way from the start
Everybody walking round with holes in the heart
Everybody holding up skies in the dark
As the stars keep falling
