but...

I'm steadily being convinced (mainly by people's reactions) that the chicken and pesto idea is the way forward.

Looks like I've been convinced by the posts on the other thread - count me in please!! I won't be there for long mind, because I've got to dash off to another dinner. But it would definitely be nice to meet you all. Now all I need are directions and other New Hall people.....

How about having the people from AMH stopping by at New Hall to pick up anyone who doesn't know the way?

If you're waiting in New Hall, just look for a bunch of exceptionally good looking (and hungry) people to wander in...

It's a maybe because she doesn't want any of you to catch the cold that she has.
Also at 5:30 she may have other plans-- wallowing in pain in her room, trying to sleep, thanks to the powerful medications she's cramming down her throat, to get rid of her nasty cold.

Unless you all like having snot, phlem, coughing, sneezing, headaches, dizziness, watery eyes, pain in the chest, or a sore throat. She'll give you all a nice present. It'll be like Christmas, but not.

On the side note, sorry I was a little out of it last night! If I seemed a little standoffish, it was because I probably didn't know what was happening. I did learn a lesson. Zero sleep and Sudafed isn't a good mix!

My crying icon is me, obviuosly so heartbroken IF I miss this dinner!

Would it be okay if I were to just stop by a little later? Not actually eat, but come and see you all?
