Prospective Saint Headlines

Postby spewie on Fri Dec 03, 2004 1:22 am

Influenced by the recent thread regarding "Union Doorstaff", I have devised three possible headlines for the next issue of 'The Saint' where the main article on the front page will be (in the ideal world) a big article about the security at the Union.

I grant them full use of these anagrammatic tabloid style headlines...

Least controversially;

FRONTON OF SAUDI!

A heartfelt piece, no doubt...

A more touching personal account of the goings on could be portrayed by;

RUFFIAN STOOD ON!

However, my personal favourite, would be a collective interview of the staff themselves, and a rare opportunity to use a quote as a headline;

AT OUR INN? SOD-OFF!

Very clever indeed. Well done.

You have got far too much time on your hands!

Still, I like it :D

How about an interview with the offending security personel boasting of exactly how tough he is -
"I doff a nun torso"
No mere hats for this hard man.

Or with the piece written as a (misspelled) review of the Union as a venue, what is there to recommend it to potential punters
"Fond of a riot, sun?"
