The refrain from "Milkshake" by Kelis:

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard
And they're like, it's better than yours
Damn right it's better than yours
I could teach you but I have to charge

This is, of course, obscene, but precisely how? Can anyone provide a translation?

it isn't illuminating, just more fun

Isn't it just meaning she has that certain 'charisma' and that it makes her attractive to the guys. She could try and teach you how to be sexy but she isn't give away her tips for free, because then it takes away the attention from her.

I hear it's regarding her blowjob (possibly handjob, considering the "shake" part) technique, rather than her womanly wiles.

Is it possibly her breasts? She does shake them a lot in the video.

But then why use the metaphor of a milkshake, is what I'm wondering.

I suddenly remembered that the internet is the fount of all knowledge (well, quite a lot). This is from http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... kshake&r=f :

Kelis says "Milkshake is just that thing that makes a woman stand out from everyone else. It's a thing that makes you sensual and warm and maternal. It could be about breasts but I don't have huge t*** so you gotta work with what you got."

Maternal?

You told me this, and i can see it makes sense, but so would any other sexually related sorta thing.
Kelis herself says
"Milkshake is just that thing that makes a woman stand out from everyone else. It's a thing that makes you sensual and warm and maternal."

Urban dictionary says
1. milkshake
1) noun - A drink consisting of milk and Icecream.
2) slang - A woman's body and the way she carries it.
1) Chocolate flavored milkshakes taste so good, they really quinch my thirst.
2) Ahh shoot cuz, did you see that chick's milkshake? I mean, the way she was walking with that booty shakin' was so off the hizzy.

ok...well, czecoslovakia is, nor never has been, a place and so a reference to that would be rendered pointless. Now czechoslovakia on the other hand...

I think 'milkshake', deducing from the way she shakes her breasts on the video, refers almost certainly to the process of pasteurisation that occurs in those swinging udders of joy.

Well, since she shakes her breasts a lot in the video would this Urban Dictionary explanation not make sense?
