A friend of mine in LGBT has managed to get Boy George to agree to stand as rector. It seems to be that he will be far better at the job than Ann Robinson or Germaine Greer and far more committed.

there's a rumour going around that Terry Wogan has been asked... hope it's true I think he's great, and would probably make a good rector- he's intelligent and funny and would probably be pretty dedicated

I think that people are still forgetting what the rector actually does.

Perhaps the best suggestion I've seen in the previous couple of posts is Chris Barrie.
