Where is it?

Postby iab2 on Mon Feb 07, 2005 7:57 pm

I want to find out what societies the uni has but I cant find a list of them all. Am I blind or is there no list.

Also, does anyone find it difficult to get any information on the uni websites or is that just me also?

Wouldnt it be nice if there was a single uniform layout to the uni and departmental sites, wouldnt everything be so much easier? The physics site is very poor and vastly different to the chemistry site which is better, but maths in between them is relativly pointless and different in style again. Surely this should be addressed? Cant all relevent info be condensed on these pages to make our (my) lives easier. A bit of clarity is all I ask for...

A full societies listing can be found - quite shockingly - on http://www.yourunion.net/main/societies

ALSO.... can I recommend you go to the Re-Freshers Fayre in Venue 1 on Wednesday afternoon 12-5. That'll give you a good range, affiliated or not. The list on the Union site doesn't seem to be the *most* bang up to date.

The greatest benefit in joining the real ale society would be that you could buy me a pint :D/-<
