Beutelsbach, Germany. The place where I've been living since I was born!

Famous for its whine, medieval buildings and that would be it. It's a village, it doesn't even have a proper food store, but I love it anyway!!!

Wherever most of my stuff happens to be, really. Although I do get a little twinge seeing the mountain behind my parents' house after being away for awhile.

Chicago, Illinois. It's in America, I suppose...

the city that gave the world the Ferris Wheel, the skyscraper, and the pinball machine. Not to mention John Cusack.

Warrington

Postby liliputian on Mon Mar 14, 2005 2:19 am

Although I was born and bred in Warrington, I feel a closer affiliation to Liverpool for some strange reason.

I came to realise that after watching The Simpsons episode when Marge tells the kids they should find something to be proud of in Springfield and I, at that moment, realised I had nothing to be proud of in Warrington - the only reasons anyone outside of Warrington know about it seems be because they went through it on the train, they follow rugby league and know how shite our team is, or they remember the IRA bombing 1993.

Thus instead I've come to discover a greater pride of Scouseland - home of Liverpool FC, the Beatles and my dad - as a result.

And with that little insight I shall head back to writing about Lenin's theory of Imperialism.
